Negative Space

Max Porter & Ru Kuwahata | France| 2017 | 6 min

Based on a poem by Ron Koertge, the narrator in Negative Space describes the way he bonds with his father. He started to learn packing when he was a child. His father taught him. He packed for his father when he was too busy to pack. Lay out everything, put back half, roll things. Looking in his father’s casket, the narrator finds a negative space.
